I was born February 8th, 1989 in Sycamore, Il.  For grade school, I attended North Elementary in Sycamore.  For middle school and high school, I attended Cornerstone Christian Academy.  For the past 2 years, I have been attending Kishwaukee College and majoring in English.  Since I began attending Kish, I have been on the newspaper staff and in the Editor-in-Chief position for the past year. I hope to finish my time here at Kish soon and move on to either NIU or Columbia University in Chicago.  I would someday like to have a career in Technical Writing.  I enjoy hanging with my friends, writing and listening to music, playing basketball, rollerblading, and whatever else seems appealing to me.

Almost all of you are probably familiar with the ever so popular "Grand Theft Auto" series, which is exactly what put developing studio RockStar kneesdeep in the gaming industry. Their very name describes the quality of the games they produce and this next title will be nothing short of "rockstar" status.

So spring is almost here and I can really only say thank God for that, considering I absolutely hated this winter more than any previous one I’ve experienced. Though that’s probably because I’ve had to spend more time outside in it than any previous winter. Aside from snowboarding, snowmobiling, Christmas, and shoving snow down people’s backs, I can’t think of anything else positive about winter. But at least it’s pretty much over now.

One thing that I would like to talk about that I think many people, like myself, are struggling with is lack of employment.

Last week one of the staff members, Andrew Robinson, wrote a very well-researched editorial on the morality surrounding nuclear weapons. His article got me thinking. So this week, I would like to offer a
