I was born February 8th, 1989 in Sycamore, Il.  For grade school, I attended North Elementary in Sycamore.  For middle school and high school, I attended Cornerstone Christian Academy.  For the past 2 years, I have been attending Kishwaukee College and majoring in English.  Since I began attending Kish, I have been on the newspaper staff and in the Editor-in-Chief position for the past year. I hope to finish my time here at Kish soon and move on to either NIU or Columbia University in Chicago.  I would someday like to have a career in Technical Writing.

My name is Jessi Haish and I am the editor-in-chief for the Kaleidoscope. My focus is currently on news and feature articles as I hope to write for magazines someday and this is a great stepping stone. I am a journalism major and spend a lot of time working on my blog, "The Musings of a Wannabe Star" which can be found at www.jhaish.blogspot.com.

Lexi Baisden

My mother birthed me and called me Alexandria. However, the staff calls me Lexi for short. I was born on the sweet summer day of July 6, 1990. I'm nineteen years old and a freshman at Kishwuakee College. I want to major in Creative Writing and publish my own books. I also want to teach Creative Writing to high school students. I plan on transferring to Columbia College in a few years. When I first joined K-scope I wasn't very confident in my writing. I had never written articles before and I was scared when people suggested the class. Turns out, I ended up falling in love with it.

My name is Will Ireland. I am a freshman at Kishwaukee College, although this is my second year on the kscope staff. I am a "computer geek". I am majoring in computer networking. I am the Web Editor for the Kaleidoscope. I find the class to be very fun, I never thought I'd like writing, but have found writing for the paper very enjoyable. I am very excited about the paper going digital, seeing as the rest of the world has already done so. My blog can be found at blog.willissolutions.biz
